About This Spot

Stepping into La Tienda Latin Market feels like finding a little corner of Mexico nestled into the heart of Santa Rosa Beach. It’s not just a spot to grab a meal or pick up a few grocery items — it’s a place where the everyday rhythms of Mexican life unfold quietly yet warmly beneath bright signs and shelves stocked with beloved staples. The mood here is unhurried and sincere, inviting both regulars and newcomers to linger, browse, and savor the genuine flavors of home cooking.

Here, the pace slows down just enough to enjoy the simple pleasures of an authentic Mexican market paired with a humble, welcoming eatery. The back corner seating offers a calm refuge where families, friends, and solo visitors come together over comforting plates that carry the weight of tradition without pretense. There’s a satisfying honesty to the way dishes unfold — whether it’s the tender warmth of tamales, the fresh snap of flour tortillas wrapped around richly seasoned fillings, or the bright, fruity notes from aguas frescas and Jarritos sodas thoughtfully lined up behind the counter.

Browsing the market side reveals a treasure trove of ingredients and treats that often feel hard to find elsewhere — from vibrant jalapeños ripened to just the right heat, to perfectly ripe avocados, and a curated selection of sauces that quietly promise depth and character in every bite. The friendly staff add a layer of ease, making the space feel like a neighborhood hub where stories and smiles accompany every exchange.

On weekends, the market’s kitchen deepens the experience, offering hearty broths and stews that speak to the soul of Mexican home cooking — dishes meant to be savored slowly, in good company, as aromatic steam rises from bowls filled with generosity and care.

La Tienda Latin Market isn’t just a place to eat or shop; it’s a little pocket of cultural warmth where discovery happens naturally. It invites visitors to soften the pace, embrace familiar ingredients in new ways, and feel quietly connected to the people and traditions behind the food.

Great little Mexican market with seating in the back.. I ordered the burrito which was very good & huge for the money & came with rice & beans on the side but the burrito had way too much cheese. Wifey got the sopes w chicken & those were very good but she just came out of the bathroom saying something didn't agree with her!! UhhOhh

There Prepared food is always good! I stop in a few times a month to get certain products from them that you can't get at grocery stores. Their avocados are always the best and can usually always find ripe ones unlike the grocery store. And I love the jalapeños there always nice and hot!!

Great authentic Mexican food! The campechano tacos and enchiladas tasted so good. The store had a bunch of other nice products to peruse and buy. Prices were very reasonable

Unique for sure. If you enjoy Hispanic foods, this is a special place. Wow. I'd like to have one of everything. Step into another country and enjoy. Easy to spend more than you expected because some items are not found in regular box grocery stores. When you find it you'll want to buy it to have on hand. Drop in for a meal or unique treats.
